Our Sustainability Efforts: A Promise to Leave a Liveable Planet for Future Generations

Our sustainability policy reflects Atelier Rebul’s brand essence and our fundamental global values: expertise, traditional craftsmanship, consistency and unique ingredients with respect. We blend science with craftsmanship, tradition with transformation. The result? Fragrances that feel good to wear, do good to your world and set a new standard for sustainable elegance, where mystery meets mastery.

True sophistication makes a gentle footprint

At AtelierRebul, sustainability is a firm belief, woven through every aspect of our traditional craftsmanship. From the sourcing of natural ingredients to packaging and beyond, we are committed to protecting the environment and communities we work with. Putting transparency, responsibility, exploration and innovation in the center, we aim to set a benchmark for what ethical, luxury fragrance should be.

  1. Manufacturing Powered by Conscience: Aim for zero landfill waste

We aim for zero landfill waste and replicate best-in-class processes to ensure each candle, perfume or diffuser is crafted with care and consideration in refillable formats.

  1. Circular Packaging & Refills: 3 R’s of Beauty Refill, Reuse, Reduce and Repeat

We’re designing for circularity: Packaging to be recyclable, reusable or refillable.

  1. Sourcing with Respect: Trusted Lands

We work only with trusted growers and harvesters, ensuring every ingredient we use meets the highest standards of purity, and sustainability. We select our ingredients from trusted growers and harvesters across Morocco, Provence and Turkey. But our commitment goes deeper than quality, we also ensure traceability and responsible impact.

When you join Atelier Rebul community, you become a supporter of recyclability.

We have been supporting refill and reuse practices by our in-store filling units since our day one. Consumed cologne and signature perfumes could be refilled in our stores without throwing away the packages. This means fewer bottles, fewer lids, fewer labels and less cardboard, with the participation of you, our mindful community who cares about their impact on the environment.

Refill packages of Atelier Rebul liquid soaps are now more eco-friendly!

Our liquid soap packages are now manufactured with 78% less plastic than standard packaging.

  1. Formulations That Care: Being Cruelty Free

Our priority: Safe and clean ingredients both for our customers and our environment by following science and the latest technology.

Cruelty Free International Leaping Bunny Programme

We are proud to announce that all Atelier Rebul brand cosmetic and personal care products are approved under the Cruelty Free International Leaping Bunny Programme! This globally recognizable gold standard for cruelty free products includes adhering to a fixed cut-off date policy, monitoring all materials & products for animal testing ongoing and having independent audits.

Being «cruelty free» was a part of our vision since day one. We focus on plants, which are the essential part of pharmaceutics, our past archives, natural scent and traditional methods, where we aim to create collections comprising of natural and healthy products and cruelty-free fragrances.

Our formulas are crafted to be plant-based, cruelty-free and free from microplastics. We are not only passionate about scent, we are ingredient-aware and heritage-driven. We value authenticity, natural ingredients and sustainable home fragrances. Our strength stems from remaining true to our pharmacy origins and crafting every product with the transparency and care it deserves.

  1. Climate Action & Community Support

We recognise the urgency of climate change. We offset emissions through credible carbon initiatives and invest in climate-smart projects to support climate action.

With each step towards climate responsibility, we are constantly looking for new ways to reduce our impact and all the waste that we are leaving to the world. And, we still have a lot to do. Our efforts focus on responsible consumption and production as well as gender equality which are part of the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals.

We have started to use 100% renewable energy in our new factory, kicking off Calculation and Reporting of Carbon Footprint Emissions at Establishment Level practices.

Thanks to our investment in new air systems technology, “heat recovery units”, we aim to achieve a minimum of 20% energy savings by using the energy of the polluted air released into the atmosphere.

Gender Equality for Sustainability

We believe that the rise of women's rights and leadership is transforming societies. We are proud that 65% of the employees in the Rebul Group of Companies, 85% of the employees in our R&D Center are women.

We support the education of female students studying Chemistry or Chemical Engineering to bring women leaders to the cosmetics industry.

One Step Further: Atelier Rebul “The Seed Ball Project”

Each one of the seed balls is a new life potential for the nature!

About 15% of the global carbon emissions are resulting from annihilation of forests. We know that in fighting against global climate crisis every single tree is the future of the total nature for a more livable future. We went one step further in our eco-friendly product movement, and brought a forestation project into action with ecording, a social enterprise that develops innovative environmental technologies against global climate crisis to leave a green mark on Earth.

We have delivered 500.000 seed balls on soil with ecording by the use of unmanned aerial vehicle ecoDrone that will deliver airborne seed ball shoots in hard-to-reach areas that need to be afforested for every Rebul cologne and Atelier Rebul product.

What is a Seed Ball?

Seed balls are the seeds covered with a mixture of clay, powder fertilizer, various minerals that will optimize the seed productivity and they are studied by R&D to increase their possibility of germination.
